Blog Statement

My intention for this blog is to discuss the mediocrity and seemingly apathetic lifestyles of many people in the Midwest. Though many inhabitants of the Midwest are hardworking citizens who in a whole contribute to the world, the slow pace of life and lack of interest in change among mostly rural communities and small towns strikes me as a topic to discuss. While discussing the lifestyles of the rural Midwest, i would also like to introduce some of my artwork (in which the general theme lies under this topic) and get feedback from fellow bloggers and readers.It is not meant to be a degrading write up on Midwesterners, rather a discussion and critical analysis dealing with the seemingly mediocre aspects of the Midwest and looking at them in comparison to the rest of the world that continues to move through an era of technological revolution.
